    ICMR Recruitment 2025 - Educational Qualification 

    Assistant 

    • Minimum 3 years Bachelor’s degree (Graduation) in any discipline from a Recognized University/ Institution. 
    • Working Knowledge of Computer (MS Office/ Power Point) 


    Upper Division Clerk (UDC)

    • Candidates must have a Graduation Degree in any discipline from a recognized University or equivalent. 
    • Typing speed of 35 w.p.m. in English or 30 w.p.m. in Hindi on Computer. 


    Lower Division Clerk (LDC)

    • 12th class pass in any discipline or equivalent qualification from a recognized Board or University 
    • Typing speed of 35 w.p.m. in English or 30 w.p.m. in Hindi on Computer  


    Age Limit (As on the last date of application) 

    • Assistant: 18 to 30 years
    • UDC & LDC: 18 to 27 years

    ICMR Recruitment 2025 - Salary

    The selected candidates will receive a competitive salary based on their respective pay levels. Assistants will be placed in Pay Level 6 with a salary ranging from Rs. 35,400 to Rs. 1,12,400. Upper Division Clerks (UDC) will be in Pay Level 4 with a salary of Rs. 25,500 to Rs. 81,100, while Lower Division Clerks (LDC) will receive a salary in Pay Level 2, ranging from Rs. 19,900 to Rs. 63,200. 

    • Assistant: Rs. 35,400 - Rs. 1,12,400 (Pay Level 6)
    • Upper Division Clerk (UDC): Rs. 25,500 - Rs. 81,100 (Pay Level 4)
    • Lower Division Clerk (LDC): Rs. 19,900 - Rs. 63,200 (Pay Level 2)

    ICMR Recruitment 2025 - Selection Process

    The selection process for ICMR Recruitment 2025 includes a written examination for all posts, followed by a computer proficiency or typing test (where applicable) and document verification. The written test will be objective type and conducted online (CBT) or offline (OMR-based). Candidates will be assessed on reasoning ability, general awareness, quantitative aptitude, and language proficiency.

    For Assistant posts, candidates must clear a computer proficiency test in addition to the written exam. UDC and LDC candidates are required to pass a typing speed test before final selection. 

    Assistant Selection Process 

    Candidates applying for the Assistant post must qualify in a written examination (CBT) that tests their reasoning, general awareness, numerical ability, and English proficiency. Those who pass will appear for a computer proficiency test, assessing their skills in word processing, spreadsheets, and presentations. The final selection will be based on document verification.

    • Typing of a passage and/or other word processing exercises including a typing test in the speed of 45 w.p.m. in English / 40 w.p.m. in Hindi (13500 KDPH and 12000 KDPH respectively). 
    • Preparation of Excel Sheet. 
    • Preparation of Power Point Presentation and related exercises which are required in the normal day to day functioning of an Office.  


    Upper Division Clerk (UDC) & Lower Division Clerk (LDC) Selection Process

    Candidates applying for the Upper Division Clerk (UDC) and Lower Division Clerk (LDC) posts must qualify for a written examination, covering general awareness, reasoning, numerical ability, and language skills. Those who pass the exam will need to clear a typing speed test to assess their typing efficiency in English or Hindi. The final stage is document verification.
