Forest Department DEO & Consultant Eligibility Criteria 2025

Educational Qualification

  • Consultant: M.Sc. in Forestry with work experience for a period more than 3 and up to 5 years in the Forest (Conservation/Management/working Plans) or Wildlife Management with good knowledge of M.S. Office. 
  • Data Entry Operator (DEO): Any Graduate/Diploma/Degree/BCA or any specific qualification required for the post with good typing knowledge on a Computer. 


Age Limit (As on 01.01.2025)

  • Consultant: 21 to 40 years
  • Data Entry Operator (DEO): 21 to 28 years 

Forest Department DEO & Consultant Salary 2025

The selected candidates will receive the following fixed monthly salaries:

  • Consultant: Rs. 40,000 per month
  • Data Entry Operator (DEO): Rs. 25,000 per month
