OSSC LTR Teacher Prelims Exam Date 2025 Out: The Odisha Staff Selection Commission has announced the preliminary examination dates for four different post of Leave Training Reserve (LTR) Teacher-2024. As per the notice, The OSSC LTR Teacher preliminary examination will be conducted on March 23, 2025 in offline mode (OMR based) at various exam center across the state. Candidates who are successfully applied for OSSC LTR 2024, can access their admit cards before 10 to 15 days from the date of exam.

OSSC LTR Teacher Prelims Exam Date 2025 

The Odisha Staff Selection Commission (OSSC) has announced the prelims exam dates for the OSSC LTR Teacher 2024. According to the latest notification the Commission will conducting the preliminary examination for TGT Arts, Odia, Science (PCM), and Science (CBZ) posts on March 23 in OMR mode. However, there is no preliminary examination will conducted for Hindi Teacher, Sanskrit Teacher, Telugu Teacher, Urdu Teacher and Physical Education Teacher posts. Candidates who have applied for these posts, they will directly appear the main written examination. The recruitment drive aims to fill 6025 LTR Teacher vacancies for Government Secondary Schools in Odisha. 


OSSC LTR Prelims Admit Card 2025

The preliminary examination date for OSSC LTR 2024 has been  announced by OSSC on February 12, 2025. Candidates who have successfully registered for TGT Arts, Odia, Science (PCM/CBZ) posts, can download their admit cards by logging in the official OSSC web portal, https://www.osssc.gov.in/. Once the OSSC LTR admit card link will activate by OSSC we will update the same here.

OSSC has released the total of 6029 Leave Training Reserved (LTR) Teacher vacancies in various category. Out of these, 1988 vacancies are reserved for female candidates. The commission has released the OSSC LTR Teacher 2024 notification with vacancies on its official website- www.ossc.gov.in. The post-wise vacancy details are given below.

OSSC LTR Teacher 2024 - Educational Qualification

TGT (Ats) 

Bachelor's Degree in Arts/Commerce or a Shastri (Sanskrit) degree with two school subject from a recognized University with minimum 50% marks in aggregate (45% for SC/ST/SEBC Candidates) along with a B.Ed (a course prescribed by NCTE) from a institution recognized by NCTE and affiliated to a recognized University 

OR

Four year integrated B.A, B.Ed from a NCTE recognized institution with two school subjects like English, Odia, Sanskrit, Hindi, History, Geography, Economics, Political Science, Indian Economy, Indian Geography, Indian Polity offered as Hons/Elective/Optional Subjects. 

AND

The candidates must have passed Odisha Secondary School Teacher Eligibility Test (OSSTET). 

TGT Odia

Bachelor's Degree in Arts with Odia as one of the Hons/ pass/elective (with minimum 200 marks excluding compulsory  Odia subject) from a recognized University with minimum 50% marks in aggregate (45% for SC/ST/SEBC Candidates) along with B.Ed/ 3-years Integrated B.Ed. / M.Ed. from any NCTE and affiliated to a recognized University 

OR

Four year integrated B.A, B.Ed from a NCTE recognized institution with Odia as one of the Hons/ pass/elective (with minimum 200 marks excluding compulsory  Odia subject) from a recognized University with minimum 50% marks in aggregate (45% for SC/ST/SEBC Candidates). 

Note: Equivalence of Bachelor in Education (B.Ed.) in special subjects Hindi, Sanskrit (Siksha Shastri) Telugu, Urdu, Special B.Ed. or in any other special subjects shall not be allowed for the post of Odia. 

TGT (Science-PCM) 

Bachelor's Degree in Science (PCM) from a recognized University with minimum 50% marks in aggregate (45% for SC/ST/SEBC Candidates) along with a B.Ed (a course prescribed by NCTE) from a institution recognized by NCTE and affiliated to a recognized University 

OR

Four year integrated B.A, B.Ed from a NCTE recognized institution with two school subjects like Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics as elective/ Optional/ Honours/ Pass Subject. 

AND

The candidates must have passed Odisha Secondary School Teacher Eligibility Test (OSSTET). 

TGT (Science-CBZ) 

Bachelor's Degree in Science (CBZ) from a recognized University with minimum 50% marks in aggregate (45% for SC/ST/SEBC Candidates) along with a B.Ed (a course prescribed by NCTE) from a institution recognized by NCTE and affiliated to a recognized University 

OR

Four year integrated B.A, B.Ed from a NCTE recognized institution with two school subjects like Chemistry, Botany, Zoology as elective/ Optional/ Honours/ Pass Subject. 

AND

The candidates must have passed Odisha Secondary School Teacher Eligibility Test (OSSTET). 

Classical (Sanskrit) Teacher 

Bachelor's Degree with Sanskrit as one of the elective/ optional/ Hons/ pass subject from a recognized University with minimum 50% marks in aggregate (45% for SC/ST/SEBC Candidates) along with Sikshya Sastri (Sanskrit) (a course prescribed by NCTE) from a institution recognized by NCTE and affiliated to a recognized University 

OR

Shastri (Sanskrit) with minimum 50% marks in aggregate (45% for SC/ST/SEBC Candidates) recognized University and Sikshya Sastri (a course prescribed by NCTE) from a institution recognized by NCTE and affiliated to a recognized University 

OR

Acharya (Except Jyotisha Acharya and Ayurvedaacharya) or Sahitya Acharya with minimum 50% marks in aggregate from a recognized University. 

OR

with Rashtra Bhasha Ratna from Rastra Bhasha Prachara Samiti, Vardha or with Sashri from Odisha Rastra Bhasha Parisad, Puri 

OR

an equivalent  degree from recognized Institution with at least 50% marks in aggregate (45% for SC/ST/SEBC Candidates) 

AND 

Hindi Sikhya Parangat from Kendriya Hindi Sansthan, Agra/ B.H.Ed (a course prescribed by NCTE) from Institution recognized by NCTE and affiliated to a recognized University/ B.Ed in Hindi (a course prescribed by NCTE from Dakshin Bharat Hindi Prachar Shabha, Madras and Institution recognized by NCTE and affiliated to recognized University). 

OR

Bachelor's Degree with Hindi as one of the optional or Honours subject with minimum 50% marks in aggregate (45% for SC/ST/SEBC Candidates) M.A in Hindi with minimum 50% marks in aggregate (45% for SC/ST/SEBC Candidates).

The candidates must have passed Odisha Secondary School Teacher Eligibility Test (OSSTET). 

Telugu Teacher 

Bachelor's Degree in Arts having Telugu as a subject with minimum 50% marks in aggregate (45% for SC/ST/SEBC Candidates) along with a B.Ed in Telugu language from any NCTE) recognized institution.

Urdu Teacher 

Alim/Fazil with 50 % marks and B.ED/Urdu B.ed from NCTE. OR Ba(Persian) with 50 % and B.ED Urdu B.Ed from NCTE.

Physical Education Teacher (PET)

+2 or its equivalent examination and C.P.Ed./ B.P.Ed/ M.P. Ed from a recognized Board/ University.
