RRB Group D Eligibility Criteria 2025 

The RRB Group D eligibility criteria 2025 outline the minimum requirements to apply for Group D posts. Candidates must have passed 10th grade or ITI and be between 18 and 36 years old to be eligible for RRB Group D Recruitment 2025. Relaxation in the upper age limit is applicable for reserved categories as per government rules.

Candidates can apply online, as no other mode of application is accepted for RRB Group D Recruitment 2025. To apply, they must register online through the official website, https://rrbapply.gov.in/. A valid email ID and mobile number are required for registration. Step-3: If you are a new user then click on Create an Account and start filling in the details asked to create an account. 

Step-4: Once done, Login to the account using the Registration Number and Password sent to your email and phone. 

Step-5: Start filling out the RRB Group D application form by providing the essential details. 

Step-6: Upload the required documents in the specified format and size, as failure to do so will result in the rejection of your application. 

Step-7: Carefully review your application and make the payment of application fee. 

Step-8: Then click on submit and download the confirmation page.

Documents Required for RRB Group D Online Application 2025

The list of documents that a candidate must keep ready with themselves while filling out the RRB Group D Online application Form  2025 is listed below. Candidates must have to upload the documents only in the prescribed size, format and dimensions otherwise they will face errors while submitting the application form. 

• Valid email ID and mobile number. 

• Educational qualification marksheet and certificates. 

• Scanned passport-size photograph and signature. 

• Identity proof such as Aadhar Card/ Voter ID/ Driver's License or School/ College/ Employer ID. 

• Category/ Caste certificate, if applicable. 

RRB Group D 2025 Photograph Size and Format

Recent, clear colour passport size photograph (against a plain white background) of the candidate in JPEG image (size 50 to 100 KB) - without wearing dark glasses and/or cap. The specifications of colour photograph must be as below: 

• It should be a Colour Passport Photograph with white/light colour background. 

• The dress should be non-white dress, preferably in dark colour. 

• The colour photograph must not be older than two months with respect to last date i.e. 22.02.2025 for submission of the online application. 

• It should be of size 35mmX45mm or 320 x 240 pixels. 

• It should be in JPEG format scanned with minimum 100 DPI resolution. 

• The size of the photograph should be between 50-100KB. 

• The latest colour photograph must have been taken in a professional studio (Photographs taken using mobile and self- composed portraits may result in rejection of application) 

• The photo should have clear front view of the candidate without cap and/or Hat and sunglasses and/or Dark glasses. 

• The face should occupy at least 50% of the area of the photograph with a full-face view looking at the camera directly. 

• The main features of the face must not be covered by hair of the head any cloth or any shadow. 

RRB Group D Signature Size

Scanned JPEG image of candidate's signature in running handwriting (size 30 to 50 KB). The specifications of candidate’s signature must be as below:  

• The candidate has to sign on white paper with Black Ink pen only. 

• Signature must be in running letters and NOT IN BLOCK / CAPITAL LETTERS. 

• The image should be in JPEG format with minimum of 100 DPI resolution with Dimensions of 50 mm x 20 mm or 140 x 60 pixels 

• Size of file should be between 30 KB – 50 KB. 

• Signature image should have proper resolution and complete image of signature should be visible in the centre of its box in the online application.  

RRB Group D 2025 Application Fee 

The application fee for RRB Group D 2025 vary based on the category of the applicant. Male candidates of General and OBC categories are required to pay an application fee of Rs.500/-, out of this fee of Rs. 500, an amount of 400 shall be refunded dully deducting bank charges, on appearing in 1st Stage CBT. However candidates belonging to reserve categories, including EWS, SC, ST, Female and Ex-servicemen,  out of this fee of Rs. 250, an amount of 250 shall be refunded dully deducting bank charges, on appearing in 1st Stage CBT.
