The selected candidates for the Odisha Block Coordinator Recruitment 2025 will receive a consolidated monthly salary of Rs. 40,000 for the Block Coordinator role and Rs. 30,000 for the Block Facilitator role. General Requirements

• Maximum Age: Candidates should be below 62 years

• Language Proficiency: Knowledge in Odia is essential 

Educational Qualification & Experience 

Block Coordinator

• Educational Qualification: Graduate in Agriculture and Allied Sciences

• Experience: Minimum 3 years of work experience in rural development projects with either Government organizations or NGOs 

Key Skills Required:

• Proven ability to coordinate development projects at the block level

• Capacity to conduct socio-economic analysis at both block and gram panchayat levels

• Experience in engaging with multiple stakeholders

• Strong training, facilitation, and communication skills

• Proficiency in Odia, with knowledge of any local dialect preferred

• Basic knowledge of computer applications is essential

Block Facilitator

• Educational Qualification: Graduate in Agriculture and Allied Sciences / Home Science / Community Science (minimum 4-year course)

• Experience: At least 2 years of experience in rural development or community-level implementation projects

Preferred Skills:

• Development project coordination at block or GP level 

• Training, mobilization, and stakeholder engagement

• Proficiency in Odia and familiarity with rural challenges

The selection will be conducted through three stages: 

Stage 1: Preliminary Screening

• Candidates will be shortlisted based on age, academic background, and experience. 

Stage 2: Academic & Work Evaluation

• Eligible candidates will be evaluated on their qualifications and relevant project experience. 

Stage 3: Personal Interview

• Candidates scoring a minimum of 50 marks in Stage 2 will appear for a final personal interview. Final selection will be based on the combined score of both evaluation and interview stages.
