Candidates applying for Junior Secretariat Assistant (JSA) and Junior Stenographer positions must have completed 10+2 or equivalent from a recognized board. For JSA roles, knowledge of typing speed (35 w.p.m. in English or 30 w.p.m. in Hindi) and proficiency in computers are essential. For Junior Stenographer, proficiency in stenography with the required dictation and transcription speed is necessary. The age limit for candidates is between 18 to 28 years, with age relaxation for reserved categories such as SC, ST, OBC, PwD, and Ex-Servicemen. 

Educational Qualification: 

Junior Stenographer:

• 10+2/XII or equivalent from a recognized board.

• Proficiency in Stenography with the required dictation and transcription speed as per prescribed norms.

CSIR NAL Salary 2025 

Selected candidates for the Junior Secretariat Assistant (JSA) and Junior Stenographer positions will be offered a salary as per the 7th Central Pay Commission (CPC) pay matrix. For Junior Secretariat Assistants, the salary will range from Rs. 19,900 to Rs. 63,200 (Level 2), while for Junior Stenographers, the salary will range from Rs. 25,500 to Rs. 81,100 (Level 4). Additionally, candidates will receive allowances such as Dearness Allowance (DA), House Rent Allowance (HRA), and Transport Allowance (TA), along with other benefits as per the rules.

• Junior Secretariat Assistant (JSA): Rs. 19,900 - Rs. 63,200 (Level 2)
