Odisha Block Level New Recruitment 2025 - Eligibility Criteria 

General Requirements

• Maximum Age Limit: Below 62 years

• Knowledge of Odia: Essential 

Educational Qualifications & Experience 

Agronomy Expert

• Master's Degree in Agronomy/Soil Science/Horticulture (Fruit or Vegetable Science). 

• At least 5 years of experience in Crop management/Soil and Water Conservation

• Analyzing agricultural and district-related contexts

• Sustainable and climate-resilient agricultural/horticultural practices

• Project designing and implementation in agriculture-related fields

• Farming practices for rice, millets, and horticultural crops (desirable)

• Engaging with stakeholders at district and block levels

• Proficiency in English and Odia 

Block Facilitator

• Graduate in Agriculture and Allied Sciences (4-year course) / Home Science (4-year course) / Community Science (4-year course)

• Minimum 2 years of experience in Rural development projects with government or NGOs

• Coordinating development projects at the block level

• Socio-economic analysis at block and GP levels

• Stakeholder engagement at block and GP levels

• Training, facilitation, and communication

• Proficiency in Odia; basic knowledge of any local dialect is preferable 

Odisha Block Level New Recruitment 2025 - Selection Process

The selection will be carried out in three stages: 

Stage 1: Initial Scrutiny

Candidates will be shortlisted based on:

• Age Limit

• Minimum Educational Qualification

• Relevant Experience 

Stage 2: Academic & Experience Evaluation 

• Candidates meeting the first-stage criteria will undergo evaluation based on their academic performance and relevant work experience. 

Stage 3: Personal Interview

• Candidates scoring at least 50 marks in the second stage will be called for a personal interview. The final selection will be based on the combined marks of Stage 2 & Stage 3.
