Junior Stenographer (JST)
The selection process for the Junior Stenographer (JST) consists of a written examination followed by a stenography test.
Stage 1: Written Examination (Objective Type)
- Mode of Exam: CBT or OMR
- Type of Questions: Objective (MCQ) type
- Standard of Exam: 10+2 / XII
- Medium of Language: English and Hindi
- No. of Questions: 200
- Total Marks: 200 (One marks for every correct answer)
- Total Time Duration: 2 hours (2 hours and 40 minutes for the candidates eligible for scribe)
- Negative Marking: 0.25 marks will be deducted for every wrong answer

- General Intelligence & Reasoning: 50 questions - 50 marks

Stage 2: Stenography Skill Test (Qualifying in Nature)
