The Odisha Public Service Commission has released an official notification for Odisha Civil Services (OCS) Examination, 2024 for filing up 200 Group A and B posts. The application process commenced on January 10 and will remain open until February 10, 2025. The recruitment process will be conducted in multiple phases, includes a Preliminary Examination, Main Examination and Personality/Interview. Step-1: Visit the OPSC official website www.opsc.gov.in 

Step-2: On the homepage click on the link "Apply Online''. 

Step-3: A new page appears on the screen, click on the link One Time Registration (OTR) for Examination. 

Step-4: A new tab appears on the screen, if candidates are not registered already, registered and create their profiling by clicking "New Registration" and entering the valid E-mail ID, Mobile Number and other required details. 

Step-5: After completing the registration or if already registered the candidate has to login to their registration number which is provided by during the registration process. 

Step-6: Enter the personal details and required education qualification. 

Step-7: Upload all required documents as per the prescribed format. 

Step-8: Download and take a printout of your Application Form for future reference.

• Minimum Age - 21 Years 

• Maximum Age - 38 Years 

• Candidates must not have been born earlier than 2nd January, 1986 and not later than 1st January, 2003.

• For SC/ST Category - 05 Tears

OPSC OCS Educational Qualification 2025

• Candidates must have a Bachelor's Degree in any specialization from a recognized University or any State or Nationally Recognized University or a Deemed to be a University under section 3 of UGC. 

• The candidate must be able to read, write and speak the Odia language. 

• Passed Middle School Examination with Odia as a language or a subject 

• Passed HSC or Equivalent with Odia as a medium of examination in a non-language subject;

• Passed Odia as a language subject in the final examination of class 7th in school or educational institute recognized by Government of Odisha. 

Number of Attempts

• Eligible candidates can make up to 6 attempts at the Odisha Civil Services Examination. 

• However: There is no limit for SC/ST candidates. 

• Socially and Educationally Backward Class candidates can make up to 9 attempts if they are eligible for reservation.

• Note: Appearing for the Preliminary Examination counts as one attempt. If a candidate appears for even one paper in the Preliminary Exam, it is considered an attempt.

• Candidates cannot claim age relaxation to increase the number of attempts
