The India Post has has released the Post Office GDS Notification 2024 to fill 44,228 GDS, BPM, and ABPM vacancies across 23 circles nationwide. The online application process commenced on July 15 and conclude on August 5, 2024. The application correction window will open from 6th to 8th August 2024. Successfully registered candidates will be selected on a merit basis. The India Post GDS salary will ranges from Rs. 10,000 to Rs.16,000 per month, depending on the post and location.

The India Post GDS eligibility criteria are the minimum parameter to apply for the recruitment drive. Steps to fill India Post GDS Application Form 2024

Step-1: First visit the official website of the India Post Office at https://indiapostgdsonline.gov.in/. 

Step-2: Then the applicant must first register themselves on the Online Engagement Portal. 

Step-3: The candidates must have their own active email ID and mobile number to generate a registration number and password. 

Step-4: After the registration select the state you wish to apply for. 

Step-5: Choose the district within the selected state. 

Step-6: Click on the "Apply Online" option in the left sidebar. 

Step-7: Now you have to provide your personal details to complete the GDS online application. 

Step-8: Next the applicant is required to upload a recent photograph and signature at the time of submitting the online application in the prescribed sizes and formats. 

Step-9: Pay the application fee and submit the final application form. 

Documents Required for India Post GDS Application Form 2024

The list of documents that a candidate must keep ready with themselves while filling out the India Post GDS application form is listed below. Candidates must have to upload the documents only in the prescribed size, format and dimensions otherwise they will face errors while submitting the application form. 

• Valid email ID and mobile number. 

• Educational qualification marksheet and certificates. 

• Scanned passport-size photograph and signature.

Post Office GDS Photograph Size and Format

For the photograph, the image dimensions should be approximately 3.5 cm in width and 4.5 cm in height. The photo size must be between 20 KB to 50 KB and should be in JPEG/ JPG format.

The image dimensions for the signature should be approximately 4.0 cm in width and 2.0 cm in height. The India Post Office GDS Signature Size must be between 10KB to 20 KB. It should be in JPGE format. 

India Post GDS Recruitment 2024 Application Fee

The application fee for India Post GDS recruitment 2024 vary based on the category of the applicant. Male candidates of General/ OBC/ EWS categories are required to pay an application fee of Rs.100/-. However candidates belonging to reserve categories, including SC, ST, and others, are exempted from paying any fee. This exemption also applies to Women and Transwomen candidates.
