The candidates who are applying for India Post Office GDS Recruitment 2024 must hold the required eligibility criteria in terms of educational qualification and age limit as mentioned in the notification. 

Educational Qualification

• The candidates have a Secondary School Examination pass certificate of 10th standard having passed in Mathematics and English from any recognized Board of School Education by the Government of India/ State Governments/ Union Territories in India shall be a mandatory educational qualification for all approved categories of GDS.

The candidates have to apply for India Post Office GDS Recruitment 2024 in three stages - Registration, Payment of Application fee, and Online Application. Here are the essential steps to complete the online application process for the India Post Office Recruitment 2024. 

Step-1: First visit the official website of the India Post Office at https://indiapostgdsonline.gov.in/. 

Step-2: Then the applicant must first register themselves on the Online Engagement Portal. 

Step-3: The candidates must have their own active email ID and mobile number to generate a registration number and password. 

Step-4: After the registration select the state you wish to apply for. 

Step-5: Choose the district within the selected state. 

Step-6: Click on the "Apply Online" option in the left sidebar. 

Step-7: Now you have to provide your personal details to complete the GDS online application. 

Step-8: Next the applicant is required to upload a recent photograph and signature at the time of submitting the online application in the prescribed sizes and formats.

Applicants are required to pay a fee of Rs 100/- for each position listed in the chosen division. However, female candidates, SC/ST candidates, PWD candidates, and transwomen are exempted from paying this application fee.
