Village Agriculture Worker (VAW) 

• Candidates must passed in +2 Science OR +2 Vocational course in agriculture related subjects only such as Crop Production (CP)/ Horticulture (Hort.)/ Repair and Maintenance of Power Driven Farm Machinery (PDFM) from any recognized Board/ Council/ Institute. 

Horticulture Extension Worker (HEW)

• Must passed in +2 Science OR +2 Vocational course in agriculture related subjects only such as Crop Production (CP)/ Horticulture (Hort.)/ Repair and Maintenance of Power Driven Farm Machinery (PDFM) from any recognized Board/ Council/ Institute OR Diploma in Agriculture Polytechnic under Odisha University of Agriculture and Technology.

OSSSC VAW And HEW Recruitment 2024 Salary

Candidates who are selected for the post of Village Agriculture Worker / Horticulture Extension worker will get Level-5 salary as per matrix under ORSP Rules 2017 having pay range Rs.21,700 - Rs.69,100 with other allowances provided by Government of Odisha.
