The Odisha Staff Selection Commission (OSSC) has announced the prelims exam date for the Combined Higher Secondary (10+2) Recruitment examination 2024. The OSSC Prelims 2024 Exam scheduled for July 21, 2024. The recruitment drive aims to fill 671 vacancies across various posts includes Ayurvedic Assistant, Homeopathic Assistant, Unani Assistant, Junior Fisheries Technical Assistant and Amin. Candidates can download their admit cards form July 12, 2024, at www.ossc.gov.in using their user credentials.

OSSC CHSRE Recruitment 2024 - Selection Process

The OSSC CHSRE Recruitment 2024 selection process involves the following 3 stages 

Preliminary Examination: The written examination comprises 150 marks segregated into five subjects. The written exam will be 1.5 hours. The questions will be of MCQ type. There shall be negative marking @ 0.25 marks for each wrong answer. 

Main Written Examination: The commission shall be prepare a list of candidates who obtained minimum qualifying marks in the Preliminary examination as fixed by this Commission in their discretion, for the next stage of the Main Written Examination. Candidates numbering about 5 times the number of vacancies may be called for Main Written Examination based on the mark secure by them in the Preliminary Examination. There shall be different technical paper for different post/services as per qualification prescribe for the post. However, there might be a common Technical paper for post/  services having same minimum educational qualification and same syllabus. 

Certificate Verification: Candidates numbering 1.5 times the vacancies advertised (Category-wise) shall be shortlisted for Certificate Verification basing on the marks secured in the Main Written Examination.
