OSSSC Forest Guard Exam 2024

Odisha Sub-ordinate Staff Selection Commission will select the candidate for Forest Guard, Forester and Live Stock Inspector posts based on their written exam, physical tests and document verification. The first stage of the recruitment drive i.e written exam will be held from 24th April 2024 to 7th March 2024 in all districts of Odisha. The second stage i.e Physical Test is schedule for September 2024. 

OSSSC Recruitment 2023 Selection Process : 

Candidates who wants to be appointed for Forest Guard, Forester and Livestock Inspector Posts have to undergo the following selection process. 

1. Written Examination 

2. Physical Standard Measurement Test (PSM) 

3. Physical Efficiency Test (PET)

Stage 1 - Written Examination: 

OSSSC will conduct the written examination for Forest Guard, Forester and Livestock Inspector posts. On the basis of the written examination candidates will be shortlisted for the next stage of the selection process which are Physical Measurement Test (PMT) and Physical Efficiency Test (PET). The written exam for Forest Guard, Forester and Livestock Inspector will be held in the month of March in all districts of Odisha.

Stage 2 - Physical Standard Measurement Test (PSM):

On the basis of the candidate's performance in the written examination as per merit list 3 times the number of total vacancies will be called for the Physical Test which comprises the Physical Standard Measurement Test and Physical Efficiency Test. First The Physical Standard Measurement Test (PSM) will be conducted which is consist of Height and Chest measurement.

Stage 3 - Physical Efficiency Test (PET):

Candidates who are qualified in Physical Tests will be called for document verification where candidates have to provide their original documents in order to verify the information submitted by them in the application forms.
